How's the band?
The band is doing fine, we are really excited about a lot of things which is about to happen.
How are for this tour?
Well, we’ve just recently come home from our European tour, which was great, and so August/September is going to be USA and finally in November we’ll be in South America!
Touch here in Paraguay, do you know anything about my country?
I know that Europeans came to the country, which became Paraguay, in the 16th century and the capitol of Asunción (we are going to play on the 22/11 2013!) were founded in 1537 and as a people you are known for being social and friendly.
Will give a good lecture? Of it's powerful riff, do they come with all the energies of pure thrash metal demolish?
Sometimes I think that melodies and riffs comes from some of the early stuff you heard, and very often when you write a heavy riff, you get that certain feeling in your gut, that makes you want to make this the most metal thing possible!
Tell me a little about the band .. as are current mind?
The band right now is very strong I think. We are very positive about the future and there is much in store, so in general optimism and excitement.
How comes the band?
The band originally started out in 1982, and around 1985 the band found it’s line-up for some years to come, and I think I general, the band just wanted to be fast, aggressive and heavy.
What were their main influence then?
I think that bands like Mercyful Fate, Slayer, Metallica and older bands like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath were influential to the band.
How was the scene at the time in Europe?
The scene was all of a sudden exposed to a new heavier kind of metal, and I guess that in Europe, the hair metal band of the 80’s never gained as strong a foothold as in USA. So in Europe, bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and those mentioned above, where very predominant.
Dinarmaca what?
Denmark is a small country in Scandinavia with a population of about 5,5 million people, close to Sweden, Germany and Norway.
How was to record their albums then?
Now a days, you got Pro-tools and a lot of equipment, back then, is was far more spontaneous and raw.
We have the LP Fear Of Tomorrow, an excellent material all the letters, what we say about this item?
This album was the bands first effort as an official album release. It holds many great classic songs, which we still love to perform.
Terror Squad and By Inheritance not lose strength and energy ... Why they split?
Change of attitudes within the band and how it was run led to a split, due to disillusion.
But after 10 years back with how everything turned this back?
The band reformed as there was released a compilation with gigs in support of it. This led to the band getting back together.
But separated again, is the reason that was?
Old habits die hard, and differences of opinions arose within the band once again, and the band decided to split.
But as the saying goes, what good is worth waiting and returned yet again, but this time it will be for a long time that even touched in my country how come this situation?
The band got together with new singer Søren Adamsen, and I think this was a fresh spark of energy and also primarily, because the band wanted to go on and play.
His lyrics that speak?
When Death Comes and My Blood perhaps had a change of lyrical content in regard of the bands earlier efforts, but every band moves on and I guess there was a desire to make different lyrics to the songs.
How to make the compositions, as were divided work?
Both together and divided, it depends ;)
Now you are influence for many bands around the world does that demonstrates the fruits of their labor right?
Maybe, Artillery is often mentioned as being an inspiration, which is a real pleasure and honour.
As you can see now the future of the band?
The band will soon release a new album, there are whole 2 tours for the rest of 2013 and next year holds a lot of good stuff in store for the band, and then down the line, another album is quite possible.
Artillery will be no more for a while?
Artillery will stay around for quite a while now! Nothing will make us go away!
